 Hey bloggers how are u today this week I have been learning more about Bedmas and what it means so if u are confused about what Bedmas means this is for you It also has a joke in it so hope you like it.

Aladdin Play

 Hey, bloggers how are you today this week I have been in production doing a play Aladdin a am an Agrabarn. The production was this school week on Tuesday morning and Wednesday night was hard for us though we were tired and at 6.00 at night we had to go back to school I mean who wants to go to school at 6.00, 6.00 AT NIGHT.

Pollution

     Hey bloggers how are you today? This week I have been making artwork showing pollution, and What people see compared to what is actually happening. Every 2nd panel of paper is bad but every 1st panel is good.

     In this picture,  you can see the dead coral and fish, then you can see the live coral and fish, big difference. So pollution should not be taken lightly, and we need to stop it, also use less plastic so it doesn't get into the water. Fish eat plastic and we eat fish, so we are basically eating our own plastic.

Matariki

 Happy Matariki everyone! 

On the 2 July, we celebrated the Māori New Year, a time to consider the year ahead. The days are starting to lengthen and spring will soon be here, we just need to get through this cold winter first! 

Matariki and the Pleiades star cluster, have got many stories attached to them. We looked at two; one about how Ranginui and Papatuanuku were separated by Tāne Mahuta, and how Tāwhirimatea was so angry he ripped out his eyes and threw thunderbolts to the sky, creating the cluster, and another story about 7 sisters making kites, and them going to the sky. Ururangi’s kite was different from the rest, it was rainbow-colored. We have mixed these two stories to create the design of our kites.

My kite has Tawhirimatea and the wind represented with the clouds. I then colored it in like a rainbow.

aladdin

 Hey, bloggers how are you doing this week I have been working on a big Aladdin palace build that is really big a took a while have you ever built something in Minecraft education?  It is quite fun.

Steam

 Hey blogger how are you today this week I was working on a steam project and we had to make a table with 10 newspapers and 1m tap, it also had to be 15cm high so we went and built a table  and after that, we went and filled out a form that asks how you did and all of that so here is what I said.

No, we worked together great and we all had ideas and jobs so we got through it quickly.

How successful was your final product?  What worked well?  What was not successful?  What would you change for next time?

Our final product was great we got all of the books and we ended up having fun. Our first idea was not successful but we improved and made it better so we had fun and we were the first people to build and resist 1 book 2 books so we did great. Next time we would make our outside stands more strong so it can hold.

240cm2 as a cube

 Hey bloggers how are you this week? I and my partner Jackson had to make a shape that was equal to 240cm3 in volume so we did the formula 20x4x3 which = 240 and that was the number we had to get to.  the other shape is our friends shape billy and Kayden oh and the shapes are on the book.

Have you ever tried to measure volume before if so what was your formula?

Maori new year

 Hey bloggers how are you today this week I drew a port rate Matariki design. The Matariki design had the seven stars ururangi-matariki-waiti-tapu a rangi-tapu a nuku waita and waipuna- a rangi.It also had a whew lines and mountains for decoration. 

First i got the foam and drew a pen line of what shape I wanted and then the rolled paint over the foam so we could put the paint side up on the A3 paper  the we would use a clean roller to push down the paint on the paper and have our designs. 

The frame was make with card and we glued it on the picture and had our product which was pretty good.

Holocaust

 Hey bloggers how are you today this week I have been learning about the holocaust and concentration camps. Mr Gillstrom gave us a challenge to make a website about any topic within the holocaust theme. In that category  in WW ll  when Hitler was in power  he had a grudge against the jewish people because of who they where. But you might be wondering how he got his grudge against the jewish well he had a thought that there must be a best DNA type so he killed everyone without that type.

 Hey bloggers  how are you today? This week I have been doing Hundertwasser art Which is art but you can not use straight lines. It is really hard and In my opinion it isn't my favourite type of art style. In Hundertwasser art you need to add a lot of things like a hidden face,eyeball,circle trees,etc any here is my art

Hey bloggers how are you today  this week we are learning about Yanny and laurel and explaining it. but first I want you to go click on the link  and see what you hear Yanny or laurel ? LINK. It is quite cool see what  your family hears too.  

The Yanny and laurel video is what we are discovering ,yet it is not an illusion but it is ambiguous. Ambiguous means that the answer is not clear. The input can be organised in two alternative ways.

The secret is frequency. The acoustic information that makes us hear Yanny is higher frequency than the acoustic information that makes us hear Laurel.

Older adults tend to start losing their hearing (or when kids listen to heavy music) at the higher frequency ranges, which could explain why you might only hear Laurel And everyone else hears Yanny.

It's a phenomenon you can mimic on a computer. If you remove all the low frequencies you hear Yanny. If you remove the high frequencies you hear Laurel. I was able to hear both but you should put the device near you ear and listen and do the same but put the computer further away from your head see if you hear a different sound.

Hey bloggers how are you today this week i have been working on couriering in a problem that happens to some people when they are looking after someone you could be standing up for them i hope you like it.

 

In this whew pictures you can see that there are two friends playing basketball, and some other kid come on like the place is theirs, then they are thinking what to do but one them gets shoved over then we had to draw the next box so i drew his friend standing up for his other friend.

Lego man

 Hey bloggers how are you today? I hope you have a good time. It took me 3 to 4 hours to make this Lego man. and it was really really fun. I had a great  time and i ran out of ink on my pencil. :(
